Blue Wagon Synthetic turf Installation Guidelines

This is how one of our installers install synthetic lawns.

1. Remove existing lawn and four inches of existing soil and irrigation pipes.

2. Install three inches of compacted base rock.

3. Install three quarters of an inch of compacted decomposed granite.

4. Install perimeter of 2x4 pressure treated wood or 2x4 bender board.

5. Install the best synthetic turf available and stretch and screw to the perimeter.

6. Install green acrylic infield sand.

7. Use a power broom to distribute sand and get blades of grass to stand up straight.
